Dr. Jakob Mainert

Cognitive Scientist, author about human intelligence

Jakob Mainert is an Industrial Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Human Capital Assessment. As founder of Cognitive Corporate Consulting (CCC), he crafts skill assessments and journeys of humane digital transformations. He helps companies to identify purpose, vision, and mission and individuals to feel the pleasure at being the cause at work in the digital age. His method is to carve out a space for the human mind at work in order to engage in high value tasks and to take out the robot part. Vodafone is one of his recent clients. In his Ph.D. for the EU in 2013 to 2017 at the University of Luxembourg, he researched the IQ, cognitive energy, 21st century skills, lifelong learning, and job performance of more than 1500 employees in 60 companies in 14 countries worldwide. He reported directly to the EU-Commission (EU project LLLight’in’Europe #: 290683, EU contribution: € 2,695,000). He published his research in peer-reviewed A-level business and psychology journals, hosted a symposium on 21st century skills in Dublin, Ireland, and gave a dozen of research talks on his topics in the US, China, and Europe. Jakob was born and raised in Berlin-Charlottenburg and has lived, lectured and researched in Berlin (GER), Vancouver (CA), St. Gallen (CH), and currently Luxembourg.
